There are a few things to prepare for before you start.
1) Create an account on MyFitnessPal.com. Its free and it logs all your food with Calories, Carbs and Fat. I personally try and count carbs, as it seems to work best for me. You can scan in almost anything with a barcode including wine and liquor!
2) Get a food weigh scale. Most solid foods are weighed on oz and grams so get one with both. I got mine at Target for about $15-$20.
3) Get your basic groceries. I will be attaching my generic list, but feel free to add your own based on what you like. Again, just for the basic weight loss I am counting carbs, so just watch that on what you buy.
4) THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT!! The day before you start.....endulge!! Whatever your weakness is, ENJOY it! Chinese, pasta, chipolte burrito, bar nachos, beer, whatever. To me, this "gets it out of my system". I had it, so I dont crave it in the weeks to come. Know it will be there if you need a reward at the end when you just saw how great it is.
5) Optional, but this one helps kick off the diet.....Do a tea cleanse. I personally like Yogi Mint Get Regular or 3 Ballerina. Take it at night and by morning you will flush it all out and start "fresh!"
